Ctrl Z, Infocom’s interview series created by Generation Z for Generation Z, brings political and public figures into direct, fact-based conversations about the questions and issues that matter to young people. At the EVN Media Festival, the series comes live to the stage with Ruben Rubinyan, President of Armenia’s National Assembly for a conversation that promises to be anything but conventional.
The format is light, fast-paced and distinctly youthful, combining pointed questions with humor, direct conversation and interactive games. But beneath the playful format are serious questions about politics, public life and the decisions shaping Armenia’s future.
By taking political interviews outside their usual format, and putting the guest in a space where the questions are direct and the conversation is unfiltered, Ctrl Z offers a different way of engaging young audiences with public life.

Writing the War: Rethinking the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War
What does it mean to write a book about a war whose consequences are still unfolding? In their new Routledge volume, “The Second Nagorno-Karabakh War and Armenia-Azerbaijan Relations: War for Sovereignty”, Nerses Kopalyan and Irina Ghaplanyan examine the 2020 war and its aftermath through the lenses of sovereignty, power, diplomacy, international law and regional security. In this conversation, they will discuss the arguments behind the book, the research and writing process, and what studying the war from the distance of several years can reveal about how the conflict transformed Armenia, Azerbaijan and the wider region.

CSN Lab: “Until 2031”
What did Armenia’s 2026 parliamentary election campaign talk about, and what did it leave out?
In this presentation, CSN Lab introduces “Until 2031,” a new publication examining the political discourse and campaign narratives surrounding the 2026 elections, based on critical discourse analysis and extensive engagement with civil society before and after the vote.
The study looks beyond the issues that dominated the campaign to ask whose concerns made it onto the political agenda, and whose remained largely invisible. How did political actors talk about environmental protection, gender equality, migration, social justice and cultural rights? Which issues gained visibility, which were pushed to the margins, and what do those omissions tell us about democratic representation in Armenia?
The publication also examines how narratives around security, peace, geopolitical orientation and national identity shaped the boundaries of political debate. What was said matters—but so does what was left unsaid.
Looking beyond election day, “Until 2031” asks how these narratives, priorities and silences could shape Armenia’s political landscape over the coming parliamentary term, and what they mean for the representation of diverse communities, alternative political agendas and competing visions of the country’s future.
