• Book Launch: “The Security Report” •
12 p.m.: Following the 2020 Artsakh War and the September 2022 Azerbaijani incursion into Armenia proper, there was a pressing need for a comprehensive, scholarly-based treatment of Armenia’s domestic and regional security configurations. Recognizing this imperative, Dr. Nerses Kopalyan, launched a monthly security briefing series on EVN Report that has become an authoritative resource in shaping security thinking in Armenia. Often cited in prestigious publications and utilized by the expert community, his work on the subject has elevated the political discourse on security matters in Armenia. Covering topics ranging from the diplomatization of security to conflict persistence to ontological security to hybrid and asymmetrical models, these briefings offer invaluable insights into the complex security landscape of the region.
EVN Report has compiled the security briefings from September 2022 to February 2024 in a new book, entitled “The Security Report” which will be presented for the first time at EVN Media Fest on Saturday, June 1 at 12 p.m.
